Our Approach
It is said that the early childhood years are an integral part of a person’s personality. It is often at this tender young age that children absorb messages that can make or break their futures as adults. Therefore, at the HPS Junior Section, we take our responsibility as the nurturers of young minds very seriously. We take great pride in the fact that our junior school staff have all been trained to employ age-appropriate techniques to support your child’s social, emotional, and physical well being at school in addition to their learning in the classroom.
Admission Procedure
The application process broken down into 6 easy steps
1.
Eligibility
We have age criteria for each class. Kindly Check the needed age for each class.
2.
Registration
Application forms can not be downloaded from the website or picked up from the school due to registration is closed now.
3.
Entrance Test
Each age group has its unique entrance exam. Entrance exams are divided among 3 age groups: young, middle, and elder applicants.
4.
Social and Emotional Intelligence Test
Once applicants pass the entrance test, they will be asked to undergo a series of tests for their social and emotional intelligence levels. This test examines your child’s social skills in a peer group setting.
5.
Parent Child Interview
Successful applicants and their parents will be invited to an interview with the school’s admissions committee. In this step of the admission process, parents will be interviewed to see if they can support their children’s academic journey at HPS and if their values match with the school’s.
6.
Final Selection
The admission’s committee then reviews applications, transcripts, test results (entrance and social/emotional intelligence), and the interview to make their decision. Selections are made solely based on merit
